marigold seeds

We’re done mailing out seeds for the season, but will still have seedlings available at our Nighttime Farmers Market, every other Wednesday from 6-10pm starting August 10th.

If you are growing marigolds in your garden or yard, or in a community garden, join the project and help us build something bigger together! Share your experiences growing throughout the summer. We’ll invite you to bring your blooms in the fall to build an immersive community art installation.

The variety of marigold we are sending is Tagetes erecta. It’s a tall and prolific variety of marigold, with blooms from light butter yellow to rich ochre and bright orange. They are container tolerant but do best in the ground, take 90 days to bloom, and prefer full sun.
